Hot Topics in Debt

In general, 2022 has been a volatile time in the capital markets. The municipal debt market has been no exception. This presentation will discuss the major themes impacting the debt capital markets, including sustained elevated levels of inflation, increases in the federal funds rate, and foreign conflict. Presenters will provide an update on taxable refundings, forward delivery refundings, and direct loans. Finally, we will provide updates related to the credit rating process and recently proposed methodology changes.
