Building Sustainable Change with Youth and Young Adult Partners Webinar
Are you currently thinking about or working on a project aimed at improving outcomes for youth and young adults in the foster care system? Are you considering different ways to partner with young people in the change process? Do you want to hear from others who have experience, explore their lessons learned, strategies, and key considerations? If so, you might be interested in our upcoming national webinar.

On behalf of the Children’s Bureau, the Division X Technical Assistance (TA) team will be hosting an event focused on Building Sustainable Change with Youth and Young Adult Partners on June 2, 2022 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. ET. Sustainability can be defined in different ways, but for the purposes of this webinar it is building the momentum needed to maintain an initiative while developing funding strategies, relationships, practices, procedures, and services that will last. It also requires learning from and sharing decision-making power with those most affected by the anticipated program and practice changes.

This event will provide an opportunity for participants to:
• Learn from experts, state, and jurisdictional partners on different methods and strategies to effectively partner with youth and young adult leaders in efforts to improve policy, programs, and services.
• Explore the challenges, opportunities, and considerations to center lived experience, race equity, inclusion of diverse populations, and accessibility in each phase of the change process: from conceptualization, planning, implementation, and transitioning to sustainability.
• Identify available resources and tools to enhance current and future planning efforts involving and partnering with youth and young adult leaders.

This event is open to all child welfare and young adult leaders who are interested learning more about creating collaborative partnerships to implement sustainable change. The registration is open to the first 1000 registrants.
