Boulder County Commissioners' Public Hearing on Consideration of an offer received from Extraction Oil & Gas, Inc. to lease mineral rights

HEARING START TIME: 3 P.M.
(2:30-3 P.M. will be used as a closed practice session for staff and presenters.)

This hearing will be offered in a hybrid format. Attendees may participate virtually via Zoom, or in person at the Commissioners' Courthouse, 3rd Floor, 1325 Pearl Street, Boulder.

Hearing Description:
Parks & Open Space Department: Consideration of an offer received from Extraction Oil & Gas, Inc., to lease mineral rights owned by the county as part of Extraction’s Blue Paintbrush drilling project in Weld County.

ACTION REQUESTED: Decision

Opportunities for live virtual and in-person public comments will be available, and written comments can be submitted at https://boco.org/ExtractionOilGas-Comments. Individual speaker’s time will be limited to two minutes to be sure all interested parties can participate during the time available. Speakers may pool time, up to 10 minutes, if everyone who wishes to pool time is present at the time of the public comment.
